About Summit & Ridge

Twenty seasons.
Same country.
Same standards.

Summit & Ridge was founded in 2006 by three guides who had each spent more than a decade outfitting for other shops. We started our own because we wanted to hunt fewer hunters per season, on better country, with better animals.

Three guides plus two packers. All licensed in the state. WFR-certified, sat-phone equipped, satellite check-in protocol on every trip. We pack out — no quartering left in the field.

Fair-chase ethic, full stop. No bait piles, no high-fence, no helicopters. If you want a "guaranteed kill" — we are not the outfitter. If you want a great hunt with a real chance at a mature animal, you are in the right place.

§04 / Guides

Guides

Three guides
worth following
into the country.

Every Summit & Ridge guide has at least eight seasons on this ground. We do not bring on guides from outside — we promote from the packer ranks.

the fire.

Where we sleep, eat, plan the morning, and dry out gear. The cabin is the heart of the season.
